What is ‘competency-based learning’? Is Uganda taking the right steps here, changing our education system?
On one hand, these were questions we should have asked about a decade ago before we took the step to do so; on the other, we needed to have gone in this direction decades ago because what we were doing before simply did not work.

Ironically, even with the change, we still see this annoying obsession in our society with examination results and schools marketing themselves by way of the grading of their students.

I cannot wait for the day schools market themselves based on the success of their students out in the real world.
